2011 ACU BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 3rd PLACE
Hi guys well another year is over and we couldn’t have asked Josh to do any more, He pulled out all the stop And here’s how it went in the 250cc Modified class
Nora Championship.
It all started at Silverstone where Josh didn’t have a good day leaving round 1 in 6thplace and himself an awful lot of work to do, so he went away and addressed his weaknesses with a positive attitude, and with 8 more rounds left 3 races per round it was up to him. Slowly but surely he climbed the Championship table and along the way having some excellent write ups posted in the racing magazines. He battled with some top racers who had a lot more experience than himself as this was only his 3rdfull season of racing. In 9 rounds 27 moto’s Josh had 10 1sts 3 2nds & 7 3rds to WIN the CHAMPIONSHIP
British Championships.
This also started at Silverstone and again he had a 6thover all and had to battle unfortunately this championship was only a 5 round event and the last round being cancelled. By the end of round 3 Josh had fought his way to 3rd with a joint 2nd inScotlandand a 1s tinCumbria. Round 4 was in Northampton where Josh Qualified 3rdwith only .200 of a second separating the top 3 racers. Josh was leading Moto 1 comfortably but he dropped a valve and had to retire.

Not only did Josh race well, he raced well enough to get noticed by the 11 times British Champion Paul Winrow who was interested in him riding for him in 2012. After a trial on one of Paul’s 450 Machines the deal was done and Paul is going to train Josh, prep a Bike for Josh to race and bring it to meetings. And we are in the process of purchasing a top spec practice bike which will give Josh the luxury of having a spare bike at meetings.
